One Billion Trees

The Indonesian Government launched a more massive tree planting program called “One Billion Indonesian Trees for the World” to help replenish our forests. The new program was kicked off following successes in previous tree planting programs since 2007. The government has allocated a budget for the purchase of 36 million seedlings this year and hopes to get 300 million more from the private sector, state companies, NGOs, regional governments ans other donors.

Additional 320 million seedlings are expected from community and rural forest programs, 300 million from forest and river basin rehabilitation programs, and 50 million from people’s forest partnership program. The “One Billion Indoensian trees for the World” program is also aimed at improving the welfare of the people especially those living near forest areas. Not only does the program aim to urge reforestation but hopes the trees will contribute to the reduction of climate change and prevent landslides.

I think it is very good program from Indonesian Government. We can see that Indonesian Government also care with our environment. As an Indonesian, I also believe that we can also contribute to save our nation and help them to success the program. We can start from the little thing,right? Now, let's green our Indonesia and save our nation. ^^

My Story

Wow... Nice to be here…

This is the first time I posted something in my blog. I just wanna try to fulfill my blog. Actually, I still confuse about what would I say here, but today I want to tell you about a little of my experiences in learning computer. Okay, let me share it.

I have learned computer since I was in Junior High school until now. But, actually I had known about computer when I was in Elementary school. For the first time, I used it just for playing ‘solitaire’ and ‘pinball’. But, when I was in Junior High school, I was learned about Microsoft office, from Microsoft word until Microsoft excel. Then, I knew that computer is not only for playing, but also for create something. By using computer, our working would become more practice and faster. For example, when we use Microsoft excel, we can count the total by typing the formula, then it will appear automatically. I really interested for it.

Then, when I was in Senior High school, I learned a new item in the computer, that is, internet. It was really exciting. We can communicate with the other persons by using the internet, and then we also know the newest information by clicking it in the internet. Really amazing, right? When I was in Senior High school, I just knew about Google, Yahoo Massenger, and Youtube.

But then, when I am in the University right now, I know about the other things that the internet serves for us, from Facebook, Twitter, Learning Online, Learning Community Group, and Blog now. I learn many things in here. I find a new interesting thing in the internet. For blogging, this is the first time I am using it. So, I need to learn more and more about it. It’s why now I am trying to know it deeply. I think it’s very interesting because we can create our own blog that suitable like what we want. I will make my first blog now become a useful blog not only for me, but also for the others. So, I need many suggestions for it.
